To clarify:

I meant my baby boy kitty cat's name is Tarrin. I thankfully do not have children at the ripe young age of 19

You don't really name cats, you know.

Cats already have names. It's up to you to figure out what it is. This is why cats don't come when you call them...unless you know their names.

Luckily, I've been good at figuring out the names of my cats. I own 4 (though not by choice, 2 were kinda dropped on us and have managed to carve out a place). Sasha, Raja, Loki, and The Big Guy. Bigs is a longhaired white, the other three are black cats. Sasha is standoffish, Raja spends 90% of his time outside, Loki truly lives up to his namesake as the house terror, and Bigs...well, Bigs just sleeps a lot, like my dog Benjamin. Both Bigs and Ben are very old. Bigs is about 10, and Ben is 16, which is very, very old as dogs and cats both go.

I'll have to get pics. Right now I only have pictures of Tarrin when he was a little baby kitty. They were sent from the lady I adopted him from. Roswell was a spur of the moment, I can't get one kitty without a friend decision. So I got two brothers. They're both 6 months old now.

I know what you mean Fel.

I think my cats have either given up on me getting their name's right or the days they spent without names payed off and I got it. They definitely know when they're being spoken too. Tarrin will be laying on the back of the couch and someone will mention his name, he'll look up at that individual knowing he's being talked about. Roswell does the same, but often gives us an evil glare if we've woken him up. That is the only cat that has ever given me the "glare of death" that seems to say "don't sleep alone or else..." I only get this glare if he's laying on my lap or up against me and I move him or if he gets a bath.

Ummm, do you mean ...

I shouldn't have named my kids Luke, Leia and Hans?
(I stole the "s" in Hans from "Indy's" last name)
Grampa died so I couldn't call him "Chewy".

<LOL>
