when i try to access the main site with either of my web browsers(netscape 7.1 + ie6) all i get is the following

'TechTeaM Haxoring your box! hunff.. conff.. cofff.. techteam@hackermail.com'

have we been sabotaged?

thanks lochar but i already have all the files saved on my hard drive. just wanted to let people know what had happened to the site

I put the site back, and emailed apex.

I don't know if they got access to the box through my shell or through another shell.  Either way, it's not a good thing, and apex will have to look into it.

But for now, the site is back up.

Good to know.  Now get back to writing chapter 8.  We hungrily await your updates.  ;D  Let's hope it is an easy fix to solve.

Yeah, and do you have any ETA? Or even a guess to as far you have come to finishing it?

I'm about halfway through.

For obvious reasons, I won't be working on it today or tomorrow.  Christmas.  ;)
