Just so you know...

I've started Inception yesterday.
This installment will be a tiny bit different from the other arcs in the series. You'll need to keep track of the date, because this arc will only cover the interesting events that take place between the defeat of the Consortium's first wave and the arrival of the Syndicate. The first few chapters will deal mainly with the aftermath of the defeat of the Consortium and the inclusion of the new empires into the Confederation, then the story will jump forward in time to cover the main happenings as the Confederation prepares for the Syndicate.
I'm not sure how long it'll be, it's going to depend on how things flow.
There's also a chance that in this arc, I might actually do something I've never done before: a flashback. This might happen if something I feel SHOULD have been included in the arc gets left out. As you might expect, there's going to be a whole lot going on behind the scenes, and if something happens that doesn't have suitable explanation in the story itself, I'll flashback to that point in time so the readers can get enough background to understand how that event impacts the "present."
So, as another warning, the writing is going to be very slow for the next couple of weeks, mainly due to work. We have a whole lot going on, and I'll be working some overtime until December.
Hopefully, it'll be worth the wait for both you and me.
