New record?

Post by dellstart »

Recently , I noticed some one posted a new post on the Demon bane thread .The last one previously had been in 2008(just the one , most had been in the year previously) , then a whole bunch in 2012.
Which got me to wondering , is that the record for time btween posts?

I'm sure someone(admin maybe moderator) could check, but I think the admin has a time limit after which threads close. I think the limit would be one minute less than that limit. the only way you'd get to that though, is if someone's trying to get some kinda record for that kind of thing, or someone's resurrecting threads... which is kinda frowned upon... interesting question, but rather silly, really.
bored and lazy... it's more fun to talk on gaia...

There were some people that started doing stupid posts everywhere when the posting limit was revealed for the mature boards, which is probably what you're seeing.

I think it was after that. I swear it's all a plot to confuse us...

The problem here is that it doesn't take a plot to confuse us. This crew started life confused has muddled their way through it in varying degrees of confusion and will finish it out completely confounded.

You lost me somewhere between confused and confounded. Now I'm disconcerted.

There wasn't a time limit after which they closed, but 2-3 weeks ago I wrote an add-on to the forum to lock threads which have been inactive for a certain amount of time. No more 5 year thread necros :p

If I remember, I'll check the longest time between posts later this week when I'm back.

But how will the zombies live? I thought aged zombie threads were what they thrived on.

Psssttt J-man

Zombies don't live they're dead!
Now Thriving is another matter all together

Phantom
And in the fury of this darkest hour
I will be your light
A lifetime for this destiny
For I am Winter born
And in this moment..I will not run
It is my place to stand
We few shall carry hope
Within our bloodied hands
(bloodied hands)
And in our Dying, we're more alive-than we have ever been
I've lived for these few seconds
For I am Winter born
The CruxShadows "Winterborn" (This Sacrifice)
