I get no response from http://www.sennadar.com whatsoever. Or rather, what i get is 'www.sennadar.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again.'

Same for a friend who just was going to start reading. Anyone else? Or, does it work for anyone?

Don't work for me, either. It seems like DNS entry expired. WHOIS returns among other information:

Domain server is up, but ping returns "<tt>unknown host http://www.sennadar.com</tt>". Same with dig/nslookup/host. Anyone has IP for www. sennadar.com? I don't know how to traceroute DNS resolves...

BTW. is it really a problem? I think one can say that sennadar.plebian.net is now Sennadar main site: http://www.sennadar.com was not updated for ages, and some links leads to expired web accounts.

I agree with Shadowhawk, a program I have that will look up DNS says that sennadar.com is free

Yeah, all Sennadar.com really need to do is redirect the traffic to one of the more updated sites, like the Plebian one. That way we would have both the site and the forum on the same place. But http://www.sennadar.com is easier to write, and give out to new readers.

As far as I know, sennadar.com wasn't supposed to expire until the end of August/early September.

I've emailed both Reba (who initially registered it) and Apex (who hosts sennadar.com) to find out what's going on.

I'll know by tomorrow, both usually respond very quickly.

Update:

According to Reba, the domain hasn't expired.  Yet it replies to an internic whois, yet it's not on the dns tables anymore, yet it DOES show up as free on some searches, but shows up as taken on others.

In other words...WEIRD.

Reba told me that she'll go ahead and renew the registration, and I'm going to pay her back.

Hear that Reba?  YOU ARE GOING TO LET ME PAY YOU BACK THIS TIME.

I'm going to bed now, Reba and Apex (site host, GREAT GUY!!!!) will email me and I'll catch up before I go to work tomorrow.

I know.  I was going to reregister it for ya, but when I went to network solutions it said already registered.  Weird.  Eh, whatever.
