Any Suggestions on New Cases?

Post by Hearly »

My current case I got with my computer is terrible for air flow, I want to look at getting a new case (under 150) (mid-size+ tower) That has Very good Air flow, and handles dust well (either filters or some other method) It would be for a Intel LGA 775 MB (not sure if it matters anymore, but figured I'd say that)

Anyone have some suggestions?

I was looking at- Antec - Nine Hundred Gaming Case, but I've seen/read some Things about the 200mm fan on the top can break easy, and 200mm is hard to replace.

Try anything from newegg.com. Got mine for $30 and it came with a 400w powersupply. I think its for U.S only...perhapps North America only.

I have an 800 watt PSU, I don't need one of those and if I wanted any case, I could keep using my current one, right now I screwed in 2 120mm fans to the side door to help keep the case cool, without those 2 fans my Motherboard was hotter than my CPU (around 45c) what I want is a good airflow case where I can toss another GTX260 card into it and SLI them without worrying about overheating the whole thing (and would like to try to keep dust to a min inside the case)

Those seem really nice, but a bit out of the price range I was hoping for.. that PC-p80 is sweet looking except for the fact that you'd have to open the front fan/door everytime you wanted to put a new CD/dvd in the thing.

I did but looking where they have the HD cage, I think it might interfere with my video cards, would have to look at one closer to see.

I've got several computers in Lian-Li cases. They're particularly awesome cases - fantastic ventilation and easy access to everything.

I think this might be the way to go.

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

That's not great - but some of the modded / gamer cases are truely horrendous. How they focus on whatevers happening on their display when there's 200W of lighting flashing/pulsing on the case I'll never know.

The LEDs on the front of the Lian-Li cases are so bright I've disconnected them.

But it doesn't seem to really be there anymore; when searching their site for cases, nothing comes up resembling kitty.

I think it's an orphan page.

No fair teasing the easily bemused!

Wonder if anyone makes a tiny case which looks like a mouse...

Looks like this one is a bit nicer, it has a top fan where the link for the one above doesn't look like it has it.

I actually have their model VA8003BWS, which is what you quoted, but it has fans both front and back as well as on the side - the opening on the top is a vent, not a fan.
