I found 2 Cyberpunk novels out there, [s]I have not read them yet[/s], but Blind Shrike
http://www.infinitematrix.net/stories/n ... hrike.html
was promoted by Cory Doctorov
http://www.boingboing.net
and Metrophage
http://www.speed.demon.co.uk/kadrey/
is by the same author, Richard Kadrey.
Enjoy!
Borsic
Update:
Blind Shrike is not cyberpunk but fantasy, very nice. Metrophage is cyberpunk, though, with a fine gritty feel to it.

Many of you will know that the publisher baen books (http://www.baen.com) has many free ebooks (http://www.baen.com/library), cheap ebooks (http://www.webscriptions.com), and a webboard with ebooks in making: http://bar.baen.com/WB/default.asp (free reg. required).
Some may know that baen sold some novels with CD-ROMs in them that contained many more ebooks.
But I bet few of you know that these CDs are free to distribute, and available as Bittorrents:

Stuff to read for months!
Now that I have done my civic duty, I can finally read chapter 11 from Subjugation. Whee!

"Blind Shrike" ain't cyberpunk. Free Radical is cyberpunk.
"Blind Shrike" is urban fantasy, IMVHO, like The Adventures of Solo Jones.

P.S. Thanks for the links!

While waiting for Fel to finish his well earned R&R, I found that Kristine Williams
http://www.geocities.com/neonfrogproductions/
has got a new novel of the Keeper-Series online! Excellent science-fiction!

Nice Cyberpunk, even though it is a bit confusing.

Two of X-Men fanfic stories, both Rouge/Wolverine:
  • Songs of a Wayfarer - An Epistolary Epiphany. At Marguerite's Fiction, containing Farscape, Sports Night, West Wing (with "Rarest Faith" novel), X Files and X-Men fanfiction.
  • Bittersweet - Marie (Rouge) grows up. Things happen... NC-17 (erotic content). Found at The Reading Room, a multi-fandom fanfiction archive run by Shirasade.

Fantasy in Progress... looks promising. The author will post a new chapter each week, providing he gets $100 in donations... interesting publishing concept!

Here you have some links to Buffy: the Vampire Slayer universes. If I remember correctly, all those links were posted in this thread previously. Nevertheless, putting it all together (and adding descriptions)...
  • The Dark Reflection Universe by Nick Midian. Narration in the style of TV series (read, and you will understand). Buffy/Highlander crossover.
  • WandererVerse (or simply http://www.wandererverse.com), where main character is Steve St. Wolf, "The Wanderer". Universe created by Steve Pantovich. Contains also stories by other authors. Multiple crossovers (including e.g. Highlander).
  • JourneyVerse (or simply http://www.journeyverse.com) and its accompanying Yahoo! TV Group (or vice versa; the site is archive for Yahoo! Group). Universe created by Tenhawk. Main stories are Xander-centric. Multiple Crossovers (including e.g. The Charmed Ones, although this one is "secondary" crossover). There is copy of it at Wandererverse.com.
Links are directly to story listings.

You are more than welcome to post (including repeating) links to other fanfic universes, not necessary limiting to Buffy.

Because of Episode III, and because I was bored, I asked Google about Star Wars vs. Trek. And what came up but the really, really cool fanfic site

Check out the epos by Chuck Sonnenburg, it cost me my weekend!

There are two and a half (i.e. WIP) zombie-novels on
http://www.brokentype.com/monster/. I have not read them yet, but Mark Frauenfelder (http://www.boingboing.net/2005/06/09/re ... islan.html) says they are good.

Here's a story 'Setisia' about a young hunter Tellimakis and his journey's  where he discovers hidden powers and things like that.  It's pretty good, I just started reading it yesterday and am on chapter 12.  Definatily makes for good reading while trying to pass the time at work...   ;)

Found a new, free SF novel! Seems to be in the style of Vernor Vinge (Singularity and so on). Haven't read it yet, because I am too busy chasing virtual electrons, but Cory Doctorov from boingboing says it s good.
Get it at

Cheers
