It's not as long as a usual chapter, but it's good enough for those of you going crazy wondering what happened.
After posting that reply, I found myself bored and in the mood to write (got off early from internship today), and banged out a quick couple of pages. I'll release this as a complete chapter and maybe work on chapter 10 a bit after I take care of some stuff.
It was a bit short, but it was the fix i needed. Heh. I really want to see them shocked a few times, and i bet Sarraya is going to have a field-day with them. Or week, or even month. She's got some new targets now after all... ;) (Though not defenseless...)
"I'm a male. Males are supposed to act tough."
Tarrin, Chapter 29, The Questing Game.
Ya know, since the dwarves are here, could the dwarven gods be here as well? I clearly remember "You can heal him unless you're a god." Maybe we could get a bit that way?
Ignorance is bliss, knowledge is power. Are the powerful very unhappy?
Good point. And what of the rest of the Gods? They should have an active interest in helping Tarrin get rid of The One. The least they could do is give him some help/advice...

think it is because of 2 things:
All gods are afraid of being completely killed so they won't put their butts on the line.
They have been so beat down in the past that they are afraid even though they can see the One has been weakened.

They did! Remember, when Tarrin stopped going after the icon and attacked the One directly? They told him he was being stupid.

But the voice I heard today said, "Love your neighbor. Do good to those who despitefully use you".

That wasn't helping, that was a bunch of scared punks too afraid to do anything themselves trying to direct the action without actually getting involved.
you know..... I'm kind of surprised no-one has talked about the fact there is a direct bloodline connection indicated between the Elementalists and the "Lost Children of the Goddess". It might be the local variation of the Elves, but something tells me that both the Dwarves and the "Children" are still alive in lesser numbers somewhere. Looking forward to next chapter so I can see what happens next......like everyone else isn't also. LOL ;D
Thank you much Fel! I feel better now. Might need a "fix" in a week or so. I hope chapter 10 gets done soon!
anyway, thoughts on the fact that Lorak and company may be the Children of the Goddess but have forgotten about the Goddess since they cannot touch the Weave?

Lochar, could you please tell me how much place (MB) do all Fel stories in HTML format take (with all necessary CSS files and images)? At least Firestaff Series + Pyrosian Chronicles. I'm thinking about making new backup site on one of the free hosts. But don't let your hopes rise too much... all this depend on how much time I would have.
