No, I hadn't checked your site.  I had to learn the hard way to only believe in a chapter post if Fel was the author.  Funny though!

you're not supposed to use the spoon of doom on children anymore. not like the good ole days where i got my exercise by being chased by my mom and her spoon of doom...or whatever she could get her hands on. My brother threw a spoon at me once. i have a scar on my leg. it actually cut me.  :'(

Thats the reason why there are so many problems.  Not enough mothers with backbone to use the Spoons of Doom in the world.  Probably alot of gang member and other criminals wouldn't be who they are today if they had some tender loving shown to them by proper application of  a Spoon of Doom.  

My parent had the Witch Switch.  I had to go and cut a nice thin switch to be whipped by.  Now that humiliating and painful.  

I think many of the problems in this world could be solved by getting rid of "services" like Child Protective Services.  Just let the police handle the problems.  If it's real discipline then let them do it.  If it's abuse then arrest their butts and toss them in jail.  I saw a mom the other day telling her kid that he was "in time out."  The kid still continued to play his nitendo handheld game.  And act bad!  If it had been me my butt would have been red and I wouldn't have had any TV or toys for quite a while.  

Kids need boundaries.  I knew where mine were and what happened when I crossed them.  Don't get me wrong, I love my parents and thank them for the discipline I got.

I think that strict enforcement of consequences of actions are much better than punishment, J-Man5. And there are many other forms of punishment (it it is really needed) than corporal punishment.

My parents didn't use corporal punishment, and they raised me well.
