Kharke: Seven

Post by qhitch »

Instead of reviving that old thread, I thought I'll start a new one :-)

Kharke is a universe based on and inspired by Sennadar. It's a different universe tho, and so has different rules, but you'll find that many of them are familiar ;-). Seven is actually the first book of four in a volume titled "Kharke: The Way Back", and though you'd never guess from what has been already written, it's going to be a very very long story indeed :-D

I've changed a lot of things in this posting. The promised rewrite isn't quite here yet, but I've reworked the plot a little, removed the scifi elements (which lotsa people told me were distracting) and generally ditched lots of typos. Lots of work still needs to be done, but that will be easier now that I've moved everything to a single file. You can't download by chapter anymore, only the whole doc. The whole changelog: http://vysnu.com/log/2004/07/23/seven-v0520040723.html

I'll appreciate comments :-) I won't be able to reply for a week though since I won't be at my box, but I'll get back to you.

Ah, you're posting again  ;D

I liked that though I didn't read it again from the start as I was ment to so some of it seemed a little out of place/confusing, I will read it completely later.

Will posting become more regular now or no? :)

Hope so =) The next update won't be in for a week though because I won't be at home to post or write, but it could possibly enlarge chapter 5 or make 6 a huuge one :-D.

I also need the services of a proof-reader/brainstormer... the work won't be hectic at all, at the most a once a week read of 5000+ words or so, and you'd have to point out typos and other such glaring errors :-). It would also help if you would pester me to write :-). Anyone who wishes to apply, send an email to g dot vishnu at gmail dot com ;-)

See you all in a week!
