I didn't say it was a bad thing, I just said he did it.  I don't care one way or the other really.

Actually, he does it a bit more often than that, although I don't think he realizes he's doing it.  I was rereading the series not too long ago, and I noticed it again. An example off the top of my head would be the fact I'm pretty sure he explains which types of magic beat other types several times...
